Quick Recap: I decided to have a local artist build a book display stand for me so I could view my collection of artbooks throughout a given month: selecting one each month and then periodically turning the pages to see more of the content. This publication is a brief snapshot of what’s “on my stand” this month. See the genesis of this idea HERE. See last month’s book HERE. And to be clear: Unless otherwise identified in the text, I do NOT own any of the images you’ll see in this publication nor am I claiming any credit for having any part in producing them.

”Patagonia” by Ignacio Palacios
This month’s pick is one of my newest books (purchased last December): Patagonia, by renowned landscape photographer, Ignacio Palacios. I was first alerted to Ignacio’s fine work via a daily photography email I receive called Photosnack. His dramatic photographs instantly resonated with me. Ignacio is an Australian-based travel photographer whose mesmerizing images reflect his deep commitment to both craft and an intentional fine-art landscape aesthetic. Take a look below at some of the images from the book and I think you’ll see why this is such a fantastic collection of photographs.
Another reason why this book appealed to me is that Patagonia is on my personal “photography bucket list” of places to visit and photograph. When I see work such as this from the places I’d like to travel to, I’m both inspired and depressed - depressed that I likely won’t get images like this on my visits! However, that doesn’t deter me from planning and dreaming about these places.
There’s no doubt about it, I am squarely in the middle of a deep and lasting love affair with Patagonia. - Ignacio Palacios

Breathtaking colors alone, but he captured the quintessence of God's creation. These lifted my spirit.
